Pieter Simons (België, 1995) is een consultant met een passie voor technologie en innovatie. Simons heeft een achtergrond in de beeldende kunst en de internationale kunstwereld. Dat legde de basis voor zijn ondernemende mindset, zijn conceptuele denkvermogen en zijn vermogen om complexe projecten te managen. Hij is beschikbaar voor freelance fotografie- en videografieprojecten.
Zijn visuele werk haalt inspiratie uit de ‘outdoor’ lifestyle en hij voelt zich comfortabel in uiteenlopende omstandigheden. Van het gure outdoorleven tot de intieme setting van een huis. Simons heeft een expertise in het vastleggen van buitensporten en -activiteiten, commercieel werk en langdurige documentaireprojecten. Zijn visuele stijl combineert natuurlijke elementen met lifestyle zonder de focus van de opdracht en het verhaal te verliezen.
Zijn persoonlijke werk komt voort uit een fascinatie voor mapping, psychogeografie en hedendaagse problematieken. Hij stelt bewust de betekenis van 'een plek' in hedendaagse kunst in vraag via het medium fotografie.
Hij is ook actief als Digital Consultant/Analyst bij Drex en als Scrum Master voor Brussels Airport. Voor zijn persoonlijke en meer creatieve projecten kun je hem bereiken via dit platform
Hij is ook medeoprichter van de non-profit sportorganisatie Digging Deeper. Met deze organisatie vormen ze een hechte gemeemschap van (ultra) duursporters in de gemeente Maasmechelen. Ze focussen op het verleggen van persoonlijke en collectieve grenzen. Ze brengen gelijkgezinden mensen samen en organiseren events en uitdagingen.

Pieter Simons (Belgium, 1995) is a consultant with a passion for technology and innovation. Simons has a background in the visual arts and international art world. Which laid the foundations for his entrepreneurial mindset, his conceptual thinking, and his ability to manage complex projects. He is available for freelance photography and videography projects.
His visual work draws inspiration from the outdoors. Simons is comfortable working in different kinds of environments. From the harsh outdoors to the intimate comfort of a home. Simons has an expertise in capturing outdoor sports and activities, commercial work as well as longterm documentary projects. His visual style blends nature with lifestyle without forgetting the story.
His personal work stems from a fascination with mapping, psychogeography and contemporary issues. He actively questions the meaning of ‘a place’ in contemporary art through the medium of photography.
He is also active as a Digital Consultant/Analyst at Drex and as a Scrum Master for Brussels Airport. For his personal and more creative projects you can reach him through this platform
Simons also co-founded the non-profit sports organization Digging Deeper. With this organization they are forming a tight community of (ultra) endurance athletes and sporters in their hometown of Maasmechelen. With a focus on pushing boundaries and bringing people together they organize events and support challenges.
